Toolkits for online delivery (Primary)

Our original online safety toolkits for face-to-face learning contain 15 minute activities which support young to understand unhealthy behaviours online, and seek help when they need it. We have adapted these toolkits for delivery online.

New formats available include:

  • Editable PowerPoint or Google Slides with lesson notes
  • Video lessons

You can download the pre-recorded lessons from the toolkit and use on your preferred online teaching platform.

Please note, some activities from the original toolkits have been amended to ensure all content can be safely delivered online.

The lessons cover themes such as:

  • online friendships/being kind online
  • sharing pictures and videos
  • livestreaming
  • gaming

Delivering the online safety toolkits remotely

Whether you are teaching face to face or in a virtual classroom, it’s important that you take steps to ensure children are protected.

Our adapted toolkits have been designed with online learning in mind and are suitable for the age-groups for which they are intended to be used. However, it is recommended that professionals look through the toolkits prior to delivery to ensure that the content is suitable for the age and stage of the children they work with. The slides can be edited and adapted to suit the needs of young learners.
