Linking to CEOP
These queries relate to users or organisations that wish to add links to the CEOP or Thinkuknow websites:
Q1. How do I add the Click CEOP report button to my website?
A. CEOP’s Digital Assets Library provides those that work with young people and/or parents with the opportunity to easily add the Click CEOP report button to their website, providing a one-click route to safety information and advice. Please contact firstname.lastname@example.org with your details and those of your website.
Q2. How can I add the Click CEOP ‘app’ to my Facebook page?
A. Since the launch of the Click CEOP Facebook ‘app’ last year there have been a number of aesthetic and technical changes to user profiles on Facebook, including the removal of profile ‘tabs’. As a result of this the Click CEOP Facebook ‘app’ no longer functions as a tab on your profile. We continue to work closely with Facebook to ensure that safeguarding children and young people online remains a top priority. You can stay up to date with CEOP via Facebook by ‘liking’ the Click CEOP page.
Q3. Is it okay to link to the Thinkuknow or CEOP websites from my organisation’s website?
A. Yes it is fine for you to add the CEOP or Thinkuknow URLs to your website. You can also embed our videos from the CEOP Youtube channel.
Q4. I am a young person working on a school project about online safety, may I reference information and advice from CEOP’s Thinkuknow education initiative?
A. Yes, we are happy for young people to include information and advice from CEOP’s Thinkuknow programme in their projects. Please include our URL www.thinkuknow.co.uk in your references.
